Privacy Policy

The Short Version

• The names and options you type into a wheel stay on your device. They are not sent to a server.
• You do not need an account.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not build advertising profiles.

What Stays in Your Browser

When you spin a wheel, your browser does all the work. Your entries and the result are handled on your device.

Your browser also saves a few things in its local storage so the site can remember you next time. These are your lists and wheels, your image uploads, your group settings, your presets, your light or dark theme choice, a count of how many spins you made today and whether you closed the install message. If you install the app or use the site offline, your browser also keeps a copy of the site's own files so pages open without a connection. Nothing in this paragraph is sent to a server. This data stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.

What We Receive

Like any website, our hosting provider (Hostinger) receives technical details when your browser asks for a page. This includes your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser and device type, and the time. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems. It is kept in standard server logs for a limited time.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits to the site, for example which pages are opened and roughly how many people come. It runs only after you first tap, press a key or scroll, and it is set to "denied" for cookies and advertising: it sets no analytics cookies, builds no advertising profile and does not use Google signals. Google receives the page address, the time, your browser and device type, an approximate location from your IP address and the page you came from. We do not send it anything you type into a tool: your entries and results stay on your device. Nothing else on the site loads files from other websites. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Advertising

The site has no advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this page first and explain what is collected.

If You Email Us

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Children

SpinWheelZen is made for people of all ages, including classrooms and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not ask for names, ages or accounts. Anything a child types into a wheel stays on their device.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. We hold very little, but please write to [email protected] and we will help.

Links to Other Sites

Some pages link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Check their policies before you share anything.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
