SpinWheelZen is a free wheel spinner. Type in your names or choices, press spin, and the wheel picks one for you.
The wheel is fair. Your browser picks the winner first, using a secure random tool. Then the wheel turns and stops on that winner. The animation cannot change the result.
Use it for class, giveaways, games, teams and everyday choices. It runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install, and it works on a phone too.
A wheel spinner is a tool that picks one option from a list at random. It is also called a random wheel, a picker wheel or a name wheel.
Each entry gets one slice of the wheel. You spin, and the pointer shows the winner. Because everyone can watch the spin, the result feels fair.
1. Add your entries. Type one option per line. These can be names, numbers, foods, tasks or prizes. You can also paste a list from a spreadsheet.
2. Check the wheel. Each line becomes a slice. Change the list any time and the wheel updates. Use the Customize menu for more options, such as removing each winner after it is picked.
3. Spin the wheel. Press the spin button, or click the wheel. It slows down on its own and stops on one entry. That entry is your result.
The wheel starts with six sample names, so you can try it before you add your own.
Yes. Here is how it works in plain words.
So the spin is just the show. The winner was chosen fairly before the wheel moved. You can read more on how it works.
Every spin is separate. The wheel does not remember the last one, so the same entry can win again.
With 10 entries, each one has a 1 in 10 chance on every spin, even the one that just won. If you spin 5 times, the chance of at least one repeat is about 70%.
Repeats are normal. That is what random looks like. If you want each entry to win only once, turn on elimination mode so the winner is removed after each spin.

Creators and shops use the wheel to pick winners. The spin is easy to watch live. Not sure how to run a draw? See the giveaway picker.
Let the wheel pick dinner, a movie or an activity. For a simple choice, use the yes or no wheel. For food, use the food wheel.
Games like Truth or Dare and Would You Rather work well with a wheel.
Need a number? Use the number wheel, or go straight to 1 to 100, 1 to 10 or 1 to 6.
You choose what goes on the wheel. Type your own list, paste a column from a spreadsheet, or import a text or CSV file. This is how you spin the wheel custom for every job.
Keep entries short, so they are easy to read on the wheel. Make a new list for each round of a game.
The same wheel works for many jobs, so the name depends on what you do with it.
Try the random name wheel for a class list, or the name picker wheel for a raffle. Same tool, different list.
