Low cost tickets and small prizes.
Run a fair raffle in a minute. Add your tickets or names, spin the raffle wheel, and the winner is drawn at random. Your browser's secure random tool picks the winner before the wheel moves.
Everyone can watch the draw on a screen, and it is free to use.
Tickets (numbers). Best for events. Sell numbered tickets, then draw a number. Use the random number wheel to set the range, or 1 to 100 for 100 tickets.
Names. Good for office, class or club draws. Put the names on the wheel. You can also try draw names.
For a raffle ticket generator, number the tickets in order on paper. Tear each one in two, keep one half and give the other to the buyer. Then put every sold number on the wheel.
A good raffle drawing is open and simple.
With N tickets and one prize, each ticket has a 1 in N chance. With 100 tickets, that is 1% each. Someone with 5 tickets has 5%.
With several prizes drawn one by one with no repeats, a person with one ticket has a chance of prizes divided by N. With 3 prizes and 100 tickets, that is 3%.
